Cefalù Private Boat Tour with Snorkelling & Aperitivo

About This Experience
This is the closest thing on GetYourGuide to renting a boat in Cefalù: $441 takes the whole boat for three hours, skipper included, for a group of up to four — with options up to eight. Nothing is shared. You decide how many stops to make, how long to stay at each, and what plays through the speakers.
It also holds the highest rating of any boat on this coast: 4.99 across 141 reviews, which on that volume is close to unimprovable. The boat is new, and the inclusions are unusually complete — fresh towels, snorkelling gear, prosecco or beer, water and juice, pizza and fresh fruit, a shower and a sun awning. On the shared boats most of that list is either extra or absent.
The detail reviewers mention most is the GoPro. The skipper films in the water and on deck, then transfers the files to your phone at the end of the trip. For a group that would otherwise be taking turns holding a phone above the waves, that is the difference between having been somewhere and having something to show for it.
The route covers Mazzaforno, the Sant'Ambrogio headland and Kalura, with swim stops at each and food and drink served along the way. Because it is private, the skipper will reshape it — more time in one bay, a detour to a cave, a later start — on the day.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible — Customer Service Like No Other! I cannot say enough amazing things about Sicily Paragliding! We originally booked a private boat excursion, but a train strike completely changed our plans and prevented us from getting to Cefalù. We thought our excursion was over. Instead, this incredible team went above and beyond. They literally sent a private van to pick us up in Palermo, drove us to Cefalù and back, and even waited while we had dinner and enjoyed the city. They could have simply said, “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do,” but they genuinely cared about making sure we still had an amazing experience. Their kindness, professionalism, flexibility, and hospitality were unbelievable. What could have been a disappointing day became one of the highlights of our entire Sicily trip. If you’re considering Sicily Paragliding, BOOK THEM! You will not regret it. They truly care about their customers and deserve every bit of recognition. 🇮🇹❤️

Extraordinary things to do with our skipper Gianfillipo. The boat is splendid, ultra-clean, and you are provided with beach towels, snorkeling gear, a GoPro, and flotation devices if you want to swim... On board, there is all-you-can-drink water or other beverages, excellent quality prosecco, fresh fruit, and pizza for an end-of-day aperitif. Gianfillipo is always considerate and very attentive to the well-being of his guests. He lets you decide how to spend the half day, and it's really thanks to him that this sea excursion was so memorable. Plus, no worries, he speaks your language perfectly. A truly wonderful day trip, highly recommended ++++

I have no words for this experience. Felippo is amazing. His boat is very new and well maintained, and he is a wonderful person. He took us to indescribable places, and his welcome with prosecco, fruit, and Sicilian pizza was amazing. Only compliments for him and his impeccable welcome! We want to come back countless times. Thank you once again, Felippo.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the price per person or for the boat?
For the boat. $441 charters the whole thing for up to four people for three hours, skipper included; options run up to eight. Split four ways that is about $110 each — the same ballpark as a seat on the premium shared mini yacht, with the boat to yourselves.
Is this the same as renting a boat in Cefalù?
It is the bookable version of it. You get exclusive use of the boat and set the route, but a licensed skipper drives. If you want to drive yourself you need a local rental company rather than GetYourGuide — see our guide to renting without a licence.
What is the GoPro footage like?
The skipper films in the water and on deck through the trip and transfers the files to your phone before you leave. Reviewers consistently call it the part they did not expect to value. Make sure you have storage free.
Can we change the itinerary?
That is the main reason to book a private boat. The standard run covers Mazzaforno, Sant'Ambrogio and Kalura with a swim stop at each, but the skipper will restructure it — longer in one bay, a cave detour, a different start time — if you ask.
How far ahead should we book?
This is one boat with one group per slot and the best rating on the coast, so it is among the first to fill in July and August. Two to three weeks ahead in high season is sensible.
